lauren evans – wedding celebrant

My name is Lauren Evans and I am a young, fun and friendly celebrant, looking to help you create your dream wedding in Darwin and surrounding areas.

I am often asked why I chose to become a celebrant at such a young age, and the answer is – I love love!!  The happiness at weddings is so infectious that, without failure, every time I have ever attended a wedding (regardless of whether the happy couple were close friends or acquaintances), I have left the wedding with cheeks aching from my smile stretching from ear to ear.  So, I thought, why not become a celebrant now – at an age when all my peers are getting married!

My aim is to provide a personalised service allowing you and your partner to experience a ceremony which is unique to you as a couple.  I work with couples to craft ceremonies which are touching and personal, weaving in aspects of the couples’ individual personalities while completely keeping the ceremony as meaningful and fitting for the relationship as a whole.

I do not provide set ceremony scripts – instead, each couple is the master of their own destiny, having as much (or as little) input into what is said or done as you wish.   My role is to guide and facilitate you in crafting your ceremony, and bringing together all desired aspects to create a flawless and individual ceremony which you can remember for a lifetime.  Of course, I will always provide couples with helpful resources, including ceremonies I have performed in the past and a heap of readings to help get those creative juices flowing.

When I’m not out immersing myself in all things wedding, I’m working full time as a lawyer in Darwin’s CBD – unfortunately this means that I will not be available for week day weddings.

If you think that I might be the right celebrant for you, please send me a message – I can’t wait to hear from you!
